Job summary

Indianapolis Public Schools is seeking a High School Title Interventionist to support at-risk students in Reading and Math. You will assess and implement research-based interventions, align with the MTSS District Wide Framework, and assist teachers to scaffold learners toward proficiency in core concepts.

This is a full-time, 10-month position reporting to the Principal. Required: Bachelor's degree and a valid Indiana Teaching License (ELA/MATH).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Indiana Teaching License (ELA or MATH) required.
• Ability to teach and model effective instructional practices.

Responsibilities

• Teach and model effective, research-based instructional practices; design lesson plans; develop assessments and analyze student performance data to support instruction within the classroom.
• Communicate clearly orally and in writing.
• Leverage interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships.
