Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons and nurses during operative procedures. You will handle sterile preparation, instrument turnover between cases, and maintain safety and efficiency in the OR.

You will support robotic cases after competency assessment and assist with instrument maintenance for multiple specialties. The role requires graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, NBSTSA certification, and at least 2 years of experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and accredited Surgical Technology program.
• NBSTSA certification required.
• 2 years experience or completed internship through an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and registered nurses during surgical operations.
• Handle sterile preparation and instrument turnover between cases.
• Maintain clean and ready-to-use equipment for procedures.
• Support specialty areas including tray inventory and instrument maintenance.
