Job summary

Valley Health Specialty Hospital in Las Vegas is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operating room teams. You will assist surgeons with instrumentation during surgical interventions and ensure sterile technique and instrument readiness for procedures.

Required: High School or equivalent; successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with NBSTA requirement; BLS. One year of OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or equivalent preferred; Successful completion of a surgical technologist program accredited by a national accrediting organization or equivalent.
• Experience: One year’s experience in an operating room preferred.
• License/Certification: Current CST from NBSTSA and current BLS certification required.

• Responsible for performing technical responsibilities relative to assisting operating surgeons with the instrumentation of surgical intervention
