Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist to support the clinical team, set up sterile trays, and assist with procedures. The role emphasizes imaging, patient communication, and collaboration with physicians during interventional cases.

The position requires ARRT certification, BLS, and relevant radiology experience. You will work with radiology and surgical teams to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the State Department of Health Services.
• Two years of experience, including training in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist.
• ARRT certification required; Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology (CV) or Vascular-Interventional Radiology certification preferred
• Knowledge of sterile technique
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the clinical team ensuring surgical schedule is followed.
• Set up sterile surgical tray.
• Assist Medical Director with surgical cases.
• Manage and store patient radiographic images.
• Interact with patients, physicians and dialysis facilities as part of our community educational program.
• Scrub and assist with surgery during procedures.
• Prepare images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician.
• Obtain and save images during procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures using a C-Arm.
• Maintain and upload images with proper naming.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare equipment.
• Manage inventory and perform end-of-month supply counts.
• Ensure confidentiality of PHI.
