Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist for our Special Procedures Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity.

The IR Technologist will perform high-quality radiographic images, work with a team during interventional procedures, and maintain sterile conditions similar to the OR. On-call coverage is required, with strict adherence to education and health requirements.

Baptist Health is currently looking to add an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist to our Special Procedures Department at Baptist Downtown, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity.

As an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist, you will be responsible for:

• Performs high-quality radiographic images.
• Functions as a member of a team performing interventional procedures.
• Works under sterile conditions, very similar to the OR.
• Promotes goodwill among co-workers and other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Must participate in on-call coverage.
• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

Positions designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
