Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist for the Special Procedures Department at the Clay location in Jacksonville. This full-time role requires participation in on-call coverage and supports high-quality radiographic imaging during interventional procedures.

Responsibilities include sterile technique, teamwork, patient comfort, and adherence to education/health requirements. A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in radiologic imaging and interventional procedures preferred.
• Hospital setting experience beneficial.
• Customer service experience helpful.

• Maintains sterile field and OR-like environment.
• Promotes goodwill and maintains patient calmness.
• Completes mandatory education and health requirements.

Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist – Special Procedures Department, Baptist Clay

This is a full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality radiographic images.
• Functions as member of a team performing interventional procedures.
• Works under sterile conditions, very similar to the OR.
• Promotes goodwill among co‑workers and other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Must participate in on‑call coverage.
• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or lawful institutional policy.

Experience

• Less than 1 year Radiologic Technologist Experience
• Experience performing special interventional procedures
• Experience working in a hospital setting
• Customer Service Experience
• Experience with vascular imaging procedures

Licenses And Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
• Registered Technologist in Cardiovascular ARRT (CV) Required OR
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
