Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging Float Pool on a PRN, varied-shift basis at multiple Jacksonville area locations.

The technologist will prep rooms, position patients, operate imaging equipment, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to deliver safe, accurate imaging and compassionate care. This role requires CRT/ARRT credentials and BLS, and offers pediatric exposure in a team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical schooling in radiologic technology or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) per DOH.
• ARRT CI certification preferred/required per job posting.
• ARRT registration in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures.
• Promote goodwill and maintain a comforting demeanor with patients.
• Report to the Lead Technologist on shift.
• Comply with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Work with pediatric patients when needed.
• Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed per policy.

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging Department to our Float Pool at varied locations in the Jacksonville, FL area. This is a PRN, Varied Shifts opportunity. As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality radiographic procedures
• Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
• Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements
• Comfortable with Pediatrics
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy

Experience Requirements

• Radiology/Imaging Experience Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred

• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, ARRT (CI) Required
• Or Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT – ARRT Required
• Or This Radiology Technologist will be located at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL.
