Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist Downtown. This part-time day shift role runs Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a sign-on bonus eligible up to $1,000.

As a Radiology Technologist, you will prep rooms, position patients, operate imaging equipment, and work closely with nurses and physicians to deliver safe, accurate studies.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred and a patient‑centered approach.
• Radiology/imaging experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Experience working in a hospital environment is preferred.
• Credentialed radiology technologist with CRT or ARRT is required or equivalent.
• CI or RCIS credentials are a plus depending on department needs.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality radiographic procedures and image capture.
• Maintain a compassionate, supportive demeanor with patients.
• Report to the Lead Technologist on shift and follow department policies.
• Comply with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Comfortable with pediatric patients and procedures.
• Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed.

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Part-Time Day shift opportunity working Tuesday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm.

As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:

• Performing high-quality radiographic procedures
• Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
• Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements
• Comfortable with Pediatrics
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy

Experience Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience preferred
• Radiology/Imaging Experience preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Vocational School
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH Required Or
• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, ARRT (CI) Required Or
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT – ARRT Or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - CCI – Cardiovascular Preferred
