Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform prescribed radiologic procedures in Interventional Radiology under Radiologist supervision. You will organize patient flow, document charges, and assist in procedures while upholding radiation safety standards.

The role requires completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program, high school diploma or GED, and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist interventional radiology procedures under Radiologist supervision.
• Schedule patients and coordinate with admitting department, referring physicians and nursing staff.
• Document charges for each exam in EPIC and Radiology systems.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards in the Interventional Radiology suite.
