Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Interventional Technologist to assist in prescribed specialized radiologic procedures in Interventional Radiology. The role requires ARRT certification and a New Jersey diagnostic radiology license, with BLS within 60 days of hire.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, completed AMA approved Radiologic Technology program, and strong communication and computer skills; one year of interventional experience is preferred.

The Interventional Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of duties to assist in conducting prescribed specialized radiologic procedures in Interventional Radiology.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
  
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
  

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• One-year experience in Interventional procedures.
  

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
  
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
  
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
  

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

• VI Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or CV Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
