Qualifications include a NJ Diagnostic Radiology license, ARRT certification, and 2+ years of radiology tech experience; BLS is required within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and radiology tech credential.
• 2+ years’ radiology tech experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• NJ Diagnostic Radiology license and ARRT certification.
• BLS required within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures.
• Support Radiology team and nurses during procedures.
• Coordinate daily IR department activities.
• Position patients and set up equipment for imaging.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety.
• Follow sterile technique and radiation safety.
• Operate RIS, PACS, and hospital IT systems.
• Ensure patient flow and department efficiency.
