Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures and related techniques. The role involves preparing patients, administering contrast, and ensuring patient safety and image quality.

You will support CT guided interventions, document procedures, and adhere to infection control and quality standards. The job requires ARRT CT certification within 9 months, NJ radiology license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Completion of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex CT procedures.
• Evaluates radiographs for proper identification and diagnostic value.
• Preps patient and ensures safety per protocols.
• Assists with CT guided Interventional procedures as needed.
• Administers contrast following dept. protocols.
• Documents patient data and imaging in records.
• Lifts/moves patients and maintains equipment.
• Adheres to infection control guidelines and standards.
