Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist (RT) for our cath lab in New Jersey. The role supports physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, calibrates hemodynamic equipment, and ensures patient safety and quality outcomes.

You will assist with vascular access and manage procedural equipment in a fast-paced environment. Required are an accredited cardiovascular radiologic technologist or related program, strong communication skills, and credentialing such as

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office / Google Suite).
• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist or radiologic technologist program or health science program.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes equipment and sterile tray for each procedure.
• Assists procedure room team with patient positioning and monitoring.
• Calibrates and tests transducers for accurate readings.
• Assists physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Operates power injector and related sterile equipment as needed.
• Assists with vascular access, sheath removal and hemostasis.
• Maintains equipment safety and radiation safety standards.
• Precepts new technologists and supports team performance.
