Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg, VA, seeks an Interventional Technologist to prepare patients and perform routine interventional radiology procedures under physician orders. This role requires ARRT registration and BLS CPR, with three years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology; CV registration preferred.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required; six months’ relevant experience (minimum three in Interventional Radiology or cross-training).
• Three years relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for interventional procedures by confirming orders and obtaining histories.
• Performs diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and maintains clinical competency.
• Adheres to departmental policies and quality patient care standards.
• Maintains a safe environment and infection control practices.
• Records patient data and supports timely billing and documentation.
