Qualifications

• ARRT registration is required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• ARRT VI or RCIS registration preferred.
• Two years’ experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic cardiac catheterization or interventional procedures by confirming orders, verifying identities, and obtaining medical histories.
• Operate catheterization devices and fluoroscopic equipment to assist physicians and obtain diagnostic information.
• Assist physicians as a sterile assistant during fluoroscopic catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Monitor ECG, hemodynamic status, and other patient data to ensure safety during procedures.
• Document procedures and assist with patient care, safety, and workflow in the cath lab.
