Provides high-quality diagnostic special procedures and interventional studies while providing safe and high-quality care to the pediatric population. Consistently complies with CHOC practices, policies (e.g., attendance, patient safety), and procedures. The IR Technologist abides by the ethical standards set by CHOC. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements participates in quality control and process improvement activities and maintains clinical competency and mandatory requirements.**Pay Range**Minimum $43.54 Midpoint $57.70 Maximum $71.84*Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.***Experience**• Required: Minimum one (1) year of outpatient and/or acute care technologist experience with six (6) months in a pediatric setting.• Preferred: One (1) year of acute care technologist experience in a pediatric inpatient hospital.**Education**• Required: Graduate from an approved education program in Radiography/Radiologic Technology.• Preferred: Graduate from an AMA-approved program in Vascular Interventional (VI) Technology.**Training**• Required: None.• Preferred: None.**Specialized Skills**• Required: Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction.
