Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join the Interventional Imaging team at Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. The position is a .6 FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks), daytime shift with weekday and weekend overnight call rotation.

The IR Technologist will assist with invasive procedures in the interventional angio suites, manage image data, and provide age-appropriate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered credential required.
• 1 year experience as an Interventional technologist preferred.
• ARRT IR certification or completion within 18 months of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining patient care and contributing to patient safety culture.
• Operate equipment per standards and guidelines; identify and resolve equipment problems.
• Apply aseptic technique during patient prep, draping and setup for procedures.
• Ensure data integrity, perform examinations, and communicate findings to care team.
• Assist radiologist with catheter and wire manipulation while maintaining sterile technique.
