Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to support the Heart & Vascular Institute during invasive cardiology and radiology procedures. The role involves assisting physicians, ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterility, and managing supplies in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT radiography certification and an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, with ACLS training within one year. A sign-on bonus is available for this role.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree and Radiologic Technology degree.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with R credential.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during invasive cardiology or radiology procedures.
• Administer contrast as directed and monitor for reactions.
• Maintain sterile field and assist with equipment and supplies.
• Verify patient identity, charts, and imaging orders.
• Document procedures accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Support on-call duties and variable shifts as needed.
