Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in New Jersey seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to support cardiac, vascular, neurological, and device-related procedures. You will prepare patients, assist physicians during catheterizations and interventions, and help maintain safe, efficient procedural workflows.

The role requires ARRT registration, NJ license, BLS, ACLS preferred, and on-call with 30-minute response. On-site day shift with hourly compensation, and opportunities to participate in quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed by the State of New Jersey.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider course completion is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred, along with completion of a Dysrhythmia course.
• Successful completion of all required orientation programs is also required.
• On-call component with a 30-minute response time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional procedures and assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, PCI, peripheral angiograms and interventions.
• Apply radiologic technology knowledge to support the procedural team and ensure safety.
• Maintain a safe, organized procedural environment and follow hospital policies and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technologists and other staff to promote patient safety and high-quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement activities to improve patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
• Contribute to on-call coverage with a 30-minute response time.
