Job summary

Carle Health in central Illinois is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to join the Heart & Vascular Institute, assisting physicians in invasive cardiology and radiology procedures and delivering compassionate patient care. The role supports a team-oriented environment with on-call responsibilities and a sign-on bonus.

Qualified candidates are ARRT registered in Radiography, licensed radiologic technologists, and ACLS certified within 1 year.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology or related field.
ARRT registered in Radiography (R) and licensed radiologic technologist.
ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

Administers contrast material per physician request and responds to hypersensitivity.
Under supervision of physicist or dosimetrist, performs functions.
Assists with inventory and supplies.
Verifies patient identity, chart, and treatment position.
Documents clinically relevant information accurately.
Explains procedures to patients and ensures comfort and safety.
Performs essential radiologic technologist duties and on-call/variable shifts.
Supports Cardiac Cath Lab and structural heart procedures as applicable.
