Brown University Health seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist for interventional procedures at Rhode Island Hospital. You will assist in vascular and interventional exams, prepare sterile trays, and ensure equipment integrity under the supervision of the Interventional Radiology team.

The role requires ARRT registration, Rhode Island licensure, CPR certification, and experience with angiography and interventional techniques, with emphasis on patient safety and ALARA principles.

Formación

• Two years formal radiologic technology training and ARRT registration.
• Current Rhode Island Department of Health license to practice.
• CPR certification from AHA/BLS.
• Advanced registry test in Cardiovascular-Interventional Technology within 3 years of placement.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain clean, orderly exam areas and prepare sterile trays.
• Assist with patient verification and universal protocol.
• Explain procedures and prepare patient physically.
• Assist radiologist in interventional and angiographic procedures.
• Position patient and operate imaging equipment; adhere to ALARA.
• Archive images in PACs and ensure proper charge codes.
• Enter case information in LifeChart, PACs, and Hi-IQ.
• Log equipment issues and service calls.
