Job summary

Rhode Island Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist specialized in interventional procedures. Under supervision, you will assist physicians, operate fluoroscopic equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout diagnostic and interventional studies.

Responsibilities include preparing sterile trays, monitoring patients, and documenting procedures in PACs while adhering to ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• Two years of formal training in an approved School of radiological technology.
• Current RI license to practice radiologic technology.
• Must hold CPR certification from AHA or BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean examination areas and aseptic technique as required.
• Assist radiologists with interventional and angiographic procedures.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment for required exposure.
• Input case information in LifeChart and PACs; ensure accurate charge codes.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and observe ALARA radiation safety.
