Qualifications

• Two years of formal training in an approved School of radiological technology.
• Current/valid license from the Department of Health to practice in the State of Rhode Island.
• Must hold a current CPR certification from AHA, BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Must take advanced registry test in Cardiovascular/Interventional Technology within three years of placement.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly condition using aseptic techniques.
• Assists radiologist in diagnosis and interventional procedures.
• Operates radiologic equipment and processes digital subtraction runs.
• Input required case information in LifeChart, PACs, and Hi-IQ.
• Ensures proper charge codes and documentation for procedures.
