WakeMed in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the Angiography team. You will assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures and operate advanced angiographic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety.

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) required.
• Registered Technologist in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (RT(VI)) required within one year of hire.
• Minimum of one year of clinical radiology experience required.

Mansioni

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the angiography department.
• Review patient records, physician orders, and testing requirements to prepare equipment and prioritize workflow.
• Operate and adjust angiographic imaging equipment according to physician instructions and established protocols to obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and condition during procedures, communicating any changes or abnormalities to the physician.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, enter required information into electronic systems, and collaborate with physicians in reviewing diagnostic findings.
