Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking an Interventional Technologist to perform diagnostic, fluoroscopic, and interventional procedures under licensed supervision. You will administer medications via vascular access, monitor hemodynamic data, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining sterile technique.
The role also involves education of students and team members and participation in quality improvement activities, with emphasis on patient safety and ALARA principles.
Interventional Technologists perform or assist in cardiac, neuro, body, and vascular-interventional procedures. They prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation activities in compliance with laws and policies. They operate imaging equipment, evaluate image quality, and ensure patient safety while adhering to ALARA principles.
Ensure proper patient identification and preparation, optimize imaging protocols, and maintain sterile technique. They evaluate and verify images, monitor patient data, and assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures. They also manage intra-arterial access, perform manual hemostasis, and operate diagnostic equipment. Additionally, they participate in physiological monitoring, record data, and support quality improvement activities.
Required certifications include ARRT-R and advanced certifications in vascular or interventional radiology, or cardiology-specific credentials such as RCIS. Knowledge of ACLS and PALS is necessary. Candidates should have radiologic technology training and demonstrate proficiency in complex duties, patient monitoring, and sterile procedures.
