St. David's Medical Center in Austin, TX is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to operate imaging equipment and support interventional procedures, delivering high-quality patient care.

The role requires ARRT(R), ARRT(VI), MRT or equivalent, and Texas MRT license, plus BLS. You’ll work in the Interventional Suite with fluoroscopy, Pan Table, injector, and monitors.

Formación

• Two years’ Radiology Technologist experience in an acute care setting.
• 1-2 years’ Interventional Technologist experience preferred.
• Graduate of a JRCERT- or AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or military equivalent.
• Associates Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
• Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board.
• Current BLS certification per St. David’s Healthcare policy.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• ARRT (VI) certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with all procedures in the Interventional Suite.
• Demonstrate proficiency with equipment in the Interventional Suite (Fluoro, Pan Table, injector, Monitors).
• Demonstrate sterile technique and maintain sterile field during scrub.
• Prepare patient and room for exams; manage wires and components.
• Serve as circulator during procedures; assist physician as needed.
• Provide patient care throughout procedure and explain the process.
• Pull sheath and apply pressure to puncture site.
• Maintain supply par levels and process special order requests.
• Ensure adherence to Conscious Sedation policy and procedures.
