Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks an Interventional Radiologic Technologist to support advanced imaging procedures under physician supervision. The role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to safety standards, and improving team efficiency.

Requirements include ARRT-R, BLS, and ACLS. Experience in high-volume radiology imaging, fluoroscopy, or interventional procedures is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required on hire.
• BLS certification required on hire.
• ACLS certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for procedures by setting up equipment and maintaining aseptic technique.
• Monitor patient vitals and communicate changes to the physician.
• Operate imaging tables and ensure optimal fluoroscopic visualization while maintaining ALARA safety standards.
