Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiology Imaging Services Technologist to perform various imaging procedures, including interventional radiology, in perioperative and inpatient/outpatient settings. The role emphasizes patient communication, safety protocols, and accurate image capture.

You will collaborate with engineers and physicists to optimize equipment performance and maintain records. Qualifications include AMA-approved radiologic technology education and 0–3 years of experience in imaging

Qualifications

• AMA-approved radiologic technology program diploma or associate degree is required.
• Six months to 1 year in the interventional field is required.
• Minimum 0-3 years of experience as Imaging Services Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes AIDET when communicating with patients to identify service requirements and ensure correct exam.
• Instructs patients and/or family regarding tests and assesses tolerance.
• Positions patient and prepares area for IR procedures, adjusting equipment for exposures.
• Adheres to safety requirements, infection-control, drug and radiation policies.
• Maintains imaging records and supports compliance with OSHA, TJC, TDH and ACR.
• Other relevant duties as assigned
