Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging exams, ensure patient safety, and support IR procedures. You will work under radiology protocols, maintain records, and collaborate with engineers to optimize equipment performance.

The role requires NJ licensure and ARRT certification, plus BLS. Preferred candidate has 1–3 years in imaging services and strong patient communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position in Morristown, NJ.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ State Licensure Radiographic Technologist (R.T.).
• ARRT credential.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient service requirements using AIDET and ensure correct exam is performed.
• Instructs patients and families about the test and assesses tolerance.
• Prepare patient/area for IR procedure; position patient and adjust equipment.
• Follow safety, infection-control, drug and radiation policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with engineers/physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Maintain medical imaging records per department standards.
• Assist in complying with OSHA, Joint Commission, TDH and ACR requirements.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
