Job summary

Essentia Health–Fargo is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support radiology procedures under the supervision of a radiologist. You will administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging and assist with fluoroscopic and digital data acquisition.

Requirements include AMA radiography program graduate, ARRT certification at hire, and ND licensure. Great benefits and a 32nd Avenue Building location in Fargo, ND.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA radiography program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology at time of hire.
• Current license issued by the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRTB).

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologist with invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Administer ionizing radiation to patients for diagnostic and/or research purposes and perform radiographic procedures.
• Scrub in to assist with catheter and guide wire manipulation and provide optimal patient care.

In this role you will get to: This position assists the radiologist with invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, which utilize advanced radiographic imaging equipment. Responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to patients of all ages for diagnostic and/or research purposes, providing patient services, and performing radiographic procedures, including all aspects of fluoroscopic and digital imaging data acquisition and processing. Scrubs in to assist with catheter and guide wire manipulation and assists with providing optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population (ages 0 to death).

Education Qualifications

• Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) radiography program

Licensure/Certification Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology at time of hire
• Current license issued by the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRTB)
