Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Special Procedures Tech PRN to support interventional radiology procedures. The role requires providing care to assist the Interventional Radiologist in Specials Radiology procedures and administering IV contrast in surgical/radiological settings.

This position also requires Basic Cardiac Life Support, state radiology credentials, and a commitment to radiation safety. PRN shifts focus on patient care within the IR suite at Medical City Dallas, a part of HCA

Qualifications

• Provides care to assist Interventional Radiologist in Specials Radiology procedures.
• Ensures Radiation safety.
• Administers IV contrast in a surgical/radiological setting.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• MRT State of Texas
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) Required
• Certified Vascular Interventional Radiology must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Associate Degree
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology
• 2+ years experience in IR preferred
