Job summary

Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience preferred and/or graduate of an advanced IR program. Must be ARRT registered and licensed by the SCRQSA.

Ability to produce high-quality imaging with minimal supervision and to work in a team-oriented environment. The role supports interventional radiology procedures, responsible for patient assessment, education pre/post procedure, safe radiation and contrast administration, and

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience preferred or graduate of an advanced IR program.
• Must be registered with ARRT and licensed by the SCRQSA.
• Must be able to produce very high quality imaging with little supervision.
• Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Current BLS required (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Performs invasive procedures partnered with the interventional radiologist.
• Responsible for patient assessment and education pre/post procedure.
• Monitors patient safety during procedures and administers radiation and contrast as needed.
• Processes imaging data and ensures quality and compliance with standards.
