Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an Interventional Radiology Radiology Technologist to perform IR procedures under physician supervision, ensuring patient welfare and comfort. The role requires ARRT certification and appropriate radiology training, with opportunities for growth within the Interventional Radiology department.

Responsibilities include image optimization, teamwork with clinicians, and maintaining high standards of safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• One year of dedicated experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred: 1–2 years in IR.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT eligible/required within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology/interventional radiology procedures per established standards.
• Follow policies and protocols, ensure patient welfare and confidentiality.
• Operate imaging equipment and coordinate with physicians to optimize image quality.
