Job summary

MedStar Health seeks an Interventional Technologist I at Good Samaritan Hospital and Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. The role performs vascular and neurointerventional procedures, with rotating call and four 9-hour shifts.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered, and ARRT licensure plus MD/VA licensure are required by hire. We emphasize teamwork, patient-centered care, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology required; or a vocational/technical diploma or certificate in Radiologic Technology (awarded before Jan 1, 2015) from an accredited program.
• Six (6) months of interventional radiology experience preferred.
• ARRT registration within 90 days of hire; Maryland or Virginia radiologic technologist license upon hire; BLS; CPR within 90 days; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular, non-vascular, and/or neurointerventional procedures under supervision.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist as scrub or circulating technologist.
• Participate in patient care, monitoring, and imaging workflows.
• Ensure equipment QC and timely PACS image distribution.
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and obtain histories.
