MedStar Health is seeking a Vascular Interventional Radiologic Technologist II at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital. The role performs angiographic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures with ARRT certification and Maryland licensure, under physician instruction.

The position includes pre- and post-procedure patient management, equipment operation, and inventory control in a busy cardiovascular/interventional radiology setting. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for a limited time.

Qualifications

• AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program of at least 2 years.
• 2 years of diagnostic radiology experience.
• Interventional radiology/cardiac catheterization experience or equivalent.
• ARRT certification or registration.
• Maryland Radiology Technologist license.
• ACLS certification or eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Administers contrast media during cardiac catheterization as directed by a Cardiologist.
• Monitors patient physiology and arrhythmias; provides appropriate patient care.
• Acts as first assistant by scrubbing and aiding in guide wires and catheters; manages patient flow.
• Maintains interventional and cardiac supplies; assists inventory and records.
