Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Radiographer to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures across pediatric to geriatric patients, uphold safety, accuracy and quality, and support a teaching environment.

You will follow established imaging protocols, position patients correctly, and mentor students and junior technologists while ensuring regulatory compliance and post-processing with advanced tools like Syngo Via.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program
• 1 year of experience required
• Licensure/certifications as listed below required

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures on patients of all ages.
• Position patients and select correct protocol; utilize imaging equipment.
• Follow established imaging protocols for the exam being performed.
• Provide quality age-specific care per prescribed standards.
• Adhere to radiation safety policies and dose reduction principles.
• Provide patient education and communications per standards.
• Assist with daily coordination of interventional procedures.
• Mentor students and junior technologists.
• Ensure department meets regulatory requirements.
