Job summary

Rush University Medical Center in Chicago seeks an IR Technologist II responsible for fluoroscopic and CT imaging in interventional radiology. You will operate imaging equipment, post-process images, and support patient-centered care in a dynamic clinical environment.

The role requires a radiography degree, ARRT registration, IEMA license, BLS, and 1–2 years of experience, with potential for growth and ongoing professional development. This is a full-time position in IR with a 12-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• Valid Illinois IEMA license.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS certification is required.
• 1–2 years of experience; minimum 6 months to transfer from level 1.
• Ability to operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, CT and ultrasound equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide fluoroscopic and CT imaging for interventional radiology procedures following radiologists' protocols.
• Set up, calibrate and operate IR imaging instrumentation.
• Post-process images independently and ensure quality.
• Support continuous quality improvement and patient care goals.
