Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist I/II for the day shift at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono in East Stroudsburg. You will perform sterile diagnostic and interventional procedures, assist physicians, and administer contrast under protocol.

The role requires RT radiology credentials, BLS, and the ability to work under pressure on a team delivering high-quality patient care. Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Technical School Diploma in Radiology.
• RT - Registered Technologist Radiology; PA licensure as required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support within 90 days.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree and VI - Vascular Interventional Radiography ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Performs sterile diagnostic, radiographic (IR), embolic, therapeutic procedures and administers contrast per protocol.
• Produces diagnostic quality images and prepares them for radiologist interpretation.
• Acts as scrub assistant and maintains sterile technique during interventional procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast under supervision, and ensures correct injections.
• Sets up sterile trays, positions patients, and maintains room readiness.
• Keeps IR lab and rooms clean and organized; reports malfunctions promptly.

ARRT - Vascular Interventional Radiography

Associate's Degree (preferred)
