Qualifications

• Technical School Diploma in Radiology.
• General diagnostic radiology experience required.
• Interventional radiology experience preferred.
• Ability to exercise mature judgment with patients, equipment and staff.
• Maintain professional relationships with coworkers and medical staff.
• Ability to work well in stressful situations.
• RT - Registered Technologist Radiology, PA licensure.
• BLS certification within 90 days; ARRT certification in PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-procedure patient care and prep of procedure site.
• Produce diagnostic-quality radiographic images.
• Prepare and label images for radiologist interpretation.
• Assist physician in interventional procedures under sterile technique.
• Prepare and administer contrast as prescribed under supervision.
• Ensure equipment readiness and proper setup of sterile trays.
• Document procedure details including fluoroscopy time, antibodies and staff.
• Maintain room cleanliness and safety in IR lab and procedure rooms.
