Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in San Antonio, TX is hiring a Full Time Interventional Radiology Technologist. The role supports a variety of radiology procedures, ensures sterile technique, assists physicians, and maintains equipment and inventory for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate’s degree desirable; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Current ARRT certification and/or TX state licensure as per state regulations; Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.
• 4–6 years of related experience desirable; 1 year experience preferred for candidates with ARRT.
• Experience with interventional procedures, including ordering and maintaining required materials/supplies.
• Knowledge and experience of sterile techniques and universal precautions; proficiency with computer software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room for radiology procedures in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Review orders to determine needed materials and supplies for procedures.
• Set up and stock procedure room/trays; clean room after procedures; maintain equipment.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns; assist in preparation and positioning for procedures.
• Assist physician during interventional procedures as scrub, ensuring sterile technique.
