Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree desirable; and Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure (as per state regulations)
• Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room for radiology procedures in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Review orders to determine materials and supplies needed.
• Set up and stock procedure room and equipment; clean after procedures.
• Explain procedures to patient and address questions.
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping for procedures.
• Transport patients to and from the procedure room.
• Operate C-Arm and assist physician during interventional procedures.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with radiation safety and badge monitoring.
• Maintain medical records accuracy and audits.
