Job summary

Capital Health seeks a Radiology Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services and support for physicians and radiologists. You will work with a skilled team to deliver safe, accurate studies while maintaining ALARA standards and proper data handling.

The position requires ARRT registration, BLS, and graduation from an accredited radiologic program. On-call, holiday, and weekend availability may be required in this role at Capital Health.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of radiological technology.
• ARRT registration required.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider certification.
• Willingness to work on-call, holidays and weekends as required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical radiology services per standards and supports other technologists.
• Adheres to department policies to optimize studies for interpretation.
• Demonstrates competence in sending images to PACS.
• Maintains radiation safety and ALARA principles for patients and staff.
• Understands radiological principles and anatomy for quality imaging.
• Assists physicians during studies with proper safety procedures.
• Operates and maintains equipment per policy and safety standards.
• Completes ancillary tasks and accurately documents data for radiologists.
