Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to deliver high quality imaging services across two hospitals and related facilities. The role requires ARRT registration, graduation from an accredited radiologic program, and 3+ years of radiology experience, with preferred angiography exposure and BLS certification.

You will support patient care, maintain safety standards, and contribute to departmental QA initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of radiological technology.
• ARRT registered.
• Three years experience as a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist.
• Six months angiography experience preferred.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider requires NIH Stroke Scale Certification by end of orientation and 4 hours of Stroke related Continuing Education.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical radiology services according to practice standards.
• Prepares patients, exam rooms and medical records for scheduled and non-scheduled patients.
• Performs appropriate procedures as determined by physician.
• Maintains radiation exposure within ALARA limits and ensures patient safety.
• Enters data into the Radiology Information System and RIS/PACS accurately for radiologists.
