Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Round Rock Medical Center. The role involves performing interventional radiology procedures under a Radiologist's supervision in an ambulatory and hospital setting.

You will ensure safety, maintain equipment, and follow established protocols while delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced environment offered full-time with call as needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.
• Must obtain ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or ARRT-VI within two years of hire.
• ARRT Cardiac Interventional or Interventional Radiography certification preferred.
• Ability to perform interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality IR procedures according to exam protocol.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET to identify service needs.
• Positions patient and adjusts equipment for procedures.
• Maintains safety and sterile technique per policy.
• Maintains equipment and prepares supplies.
• Screens people entering department per policies.
• Obtains and verifies patient information and regulatory documentation.
• Maintains imaging records per department standards.
