Job summary

BSW Round Rock Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform interventional radiology procedures under a Radiologist's supervision. The role requires ARRT-R certification and ongoing IR/cardiac interventional credentials within two years.

The ideal candidate will be able to explain procedures to patients, maintain sterile technique, and ensure safety while delivering high-quality imaging. This on-site, full-time position may include call shifts.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• Certification in ARRT-CI/CV/VI within two years of hire.
• Ability to perform interventional radiology procedures per protocol.
• Strong patient communication and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality IR procedures according to exam protocol.
• Communicate with patients to identify needs using AIDET.
• Prepare patient and area for procedures and set exposure factors.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and sterile technique.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, and report issues.
• Maintain and document patient records and imaging studies.
