Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health’s Round Rock Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform high‑quality IR procedures under a Radiologist’s supervision. You will assess patient tolerance, position patients, and ensure safety and accuracy in imaging, while maintaining clean workspaces and proper documentation.

Applicants must hold ARRT-R and obtain ARRT-CI/CV/VI or equivalent within two years of hire, with a full-time Mon‑Fri 8a‑5p schedule and call coverage.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform high-quality IR procedures per exam protocol.
• Ability to communicate with patients using AIDET.
• Knowledge of safety, infection-control, and radiation policies.
• Must obtain/maintain ARRT radiography certification and advanced IR credentials within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures for ambulatory and hospital patients.
• Explain procedures and prepare patient and area for examinations.
• Maintain equipment and department cleanliness; report issues to management.
• Ensure documentation and imaging records are properly maintained.
