Job summary

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL seeks an experienced Radiology Technologist for interventional platform support. You will scrub for diagnostic and interventional procedures, assume Cath/EP/IR roles, operate imaging equipment, and ensure radiation safety.

Strong communication and sterile technique are essential. Requirements include IL RT licensure with AART, an Associate Degree in Radiology, and BLS (ACLS within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Current RT licensure in IL and AART certification.
• 2-year Associate Degree in Radiology from an accredited program.
• Basic life support (BLS) and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides scrub support during diagnostic and interventional procedures; anticipates provider needs.
• Competent in roles for Cath/EP or IR procedures.
• Operates imaging and related equipment; acts as radiation safety resource.
• Communicates clearly with team to ensure image quality and QA.
• Maintains sterile technique and assists/ circulates as required.
• Participates in site/team meetings and educational offerings.
