Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Illinois seeks a Radiology Technologist—Cath/IR scrub tech—to provide scrub support during diagnostic and interventional procedures, anticipate provider needs, and ensure sterile technique.

You will operate imaging and related equipment, act as a radiation expert resource, and collaborate with the team to maintain quality assurance in imaging, hemodynamics and oximetry while ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current IL radiologic technologist license and AART certification.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• 2‑year Associate Degree from an Accredited Radiology program.

Responsibilities

• Provides scrub support during diagnostic and interventional procedures; anticipates provider needs.
• Competent in all Cath/EP or IR roles and operates imaging equipment.
• Maintains sterile technique and supports safety in patient care interactions.
• Collaborates with the team to ensure quality assurance in imaging, hemodynamics and oximetry.
