Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a skilled Interventional Technologist to independently perform or assist with cardiac, neuro, body, and vascular-interventional procedures. You will prepare medications, monitor radiation exposure, document imaging data, and maintain ALARA standards while ensuring patient safety and high-quality results.

The role requires ARRT-R and advanced ARRT subspecialty certifications, ACLS/PALS as needed, and a specialty radiologic technology background.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology (Required).
• ARRT-R certification and advanced ARRT subspecialty certifications are required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist in diagnostic, fluoroscopic, and interventional procedures.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and ensure patient safety and correct imaging protocols.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare staff; ensure proper data recording and archiving.
