Job summary

MedStar Health, a leading healthcare system in Maryland and the Washington, DC region, is seeking an Interventional Technologist to perform vascular and neurointerventional procedures across locations in Baltimore. The role requires ARRT certification within 90 days and Maryland or Virginia licensure on hire, with BLS at start and ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in radiologic technology required.
Diploma or certificate from USDE/CHEA/METC-accredited program required if awarded before 2015.
Six months interventional radiology experience preferred.
ARRT certification within 90 days of hire and MD/VA radiologic technologist license on hire.
BLS certification on hire; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, performs vascular, non-vascular, and/or neurointerventional procedures.
Maintains sterile technique and functions as scrub or circulating technologist as needed.
Supports patient care: history, education, monitoring, and safety throughout procedures.
Documents care in EHR and distributes final images to PACS.
Participates in performance improvement initiatives to enhance workflow and patient care.
